MFI is facing up to COVID19 crisis
Dear customers and partners
We are collectively facing an exceptional situation. In these circumstances, health of all is our absolute priority.
Yet, pursuing our activity and your projects is also a priority and MFI has already adapted its organization to minimize impacts.
In order to fight against the COVID19 health crisis, the French Government has imposed a confinement measure to the French population, starting on March 17. Accordingly, Meteo France International has instructed each of its employees to stay home and is currently making every effort to give its teams the means to continue their professional activities in satisfying conditions.
Home office and associated means of communication have been systematized within MFI since Monday, March 16. Consequently, welcoming foreign delegations and sending MFI staff on business trips abroad is suspended until further notice.
Our teams, and especially your usual contacts, remain available by your side and fully mobilized throughout this period.
All MFI staff members have the necessary technical means to work from their homes in the best possible conditions: laptop, high-performance networks, videoconferencing, file exchange system, etc. They are prepared and highly motivated to continue working with you on your projects. You can easily reach them by email and messaging. We also plan to systematize meetings by videoconference and will contact you specifically for this purpose.
We are doing everything to minimize the impact of this situation on our joint projects. For the sake of transparency, our project managers will communicate with you on a regular basis about the potential impacts of the situation on the implementation of these projects, on the project schedule in general, and in particular on the organization of the onsite implementation phases. They will appreciate, in return, knowing about any measure taken by your governments which might also have an impact on our joint operations.
We thank you in advance for your understanding and remain, more than ever, by your side in this unprecedented period, waiting for the overall situation to return to normal for everyone as soon as possible.
Let's stay home...
And work from there!
